Using a technique first discovered in 1957 called “dye sublimation”, it is possible to transfer any design or colour onto our wide range of polyester fabrics. We use a system called Flexographic, which involves the use of synthetic rubber rollers onto which the image to be printed is laser engraved. The roller is continuous and then prints the sublimation ink onto paper which is then heat transferred onto the webbing. The benefit of this system is that it allows for very intricate, multi coloured designs to be permanently embedded into the fabric, giving excellent properties for wash fastness and rub fastness that cannot be achieved by some other printing methods such as screen print.

As well as traditional printing methods for bulk production we have digital printing facilities, allowing the unique design work to be uploaded to a state of the art digital printing machine that can print the design onto heat transfer paper for sublimation printing. This allows for samples to be created for approval without the cost outlay of traditional printing rollers, turning your bespoke design into a physical sample generally within a few days of an enquiry being placed. This is a cheaper and faster way to get customer approval prior to order. The digital printing method is ideal for short runs or for where there may be a requirement for larger text and image spacing that cannot be achieved with the traditional printing methods.
